It follows the story of https://www.myboxingcoach.com - When it comes to your attacking boxing combinations, you can choose to use either prepared, unprepared or....somewhere in between. In this video we work through 3 boxing combinations. With the first two combinations, I show you an 'unprepared attack' and a 'prepared attack'. This approach of going for a prepared or unprepared attack helps to increase your variation, making you less predictable and more effective. The principle of preparing your attack for your boxing combinations is pretty simple, put a feint up front. As you see in the video, the combinations I use are the same, I just swap out the jab for a feint. Using a feint helps you get to that power shot quicker (either the lead hook or the back hand cross). The final combination incorporates the wondrous screw-shot. A simple way to think about the screw-shot is to feint the back hand to the body and turn it into a head shot when the shot is half way to it's target. So the final boxing combination is neither prepared nor unprepared...it's a half way house of boxing combinations! Something for everyone :-) Cheers Fran Whenever you are ready, here are 4 other ways that I can help you achieve your goals: If you are thinking about beginner boxing, check out the 10 Beginner Boxer Skills playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1oWSMiM6PsSjYzxa2rhIJoAmbbvfuJKx To access a wealth of bite sized boxing tips, jump to the 90 Second Boxing Tips playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1oWSMiM6PsTYCCeW3VcCtwsCxn-A4btf To gain a solid understanding of bringing boxing skills together in a super-effective way, check out the 9 Boxing Drills to Build Style playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1oWSMiM6PsSgudQu91fGoFsvT4j0TCgg If you would like even more structure and clarity, go and download your free book The Beginner Boxer Toolkit here - https://www.myboxingcoach.com.
