The TV series Keying rusher or receiver in APBA Football: How do YOU do it?, created by an unlisted creator and produced by an unlisted studio, first premiered on November 22, 2022 in الولايات المتحدة. The series spans 0 seasons with 0 episodes, featuring the voices of an unlisted voice cast. It follows the story of Do you use the keying feature — identifying the ball carrier or intended receiver — as a basic or optional rule? And, do you use the "old" rule of dropping two lines only if there's a gain on the run, or do you drop into a slightly greater loss of yardage? We look at the evolution of the results boards and rules books/charts — and let you judge for yourself. 1-17-23: To further amplify the concept, based on the ensuing conversation: 1) APBA Football simplies the game of football so that knowledge of X's and O's is unnecessary — which is ideal for more casual football fans. It replicates what a viewer sees happening on the field. Having played APBA Football since 1979, that concept has always been clear and welcome to me. 2) As for the idea offered that keying (particularly of the RB) "is not something actually 'real" in football," here are just a few articles that discuss the very concept of defensive keying in great detail (little if any of which, ultimately and thankfully, must come in to play when playing APBA Football): • https://matchquarters.com/2019/06/07/keying-the-h-back-versus-y-off-or-i-formations/ • https://joedanielfootball.com/linebacker-reads-and-keys/ • https://www.shakinthesouthland.com/2011/5/23/2183241/linebacker-play-rb-key-reading 3) As to the question, "Why would you not key on every play?" that was rather my point: Yes, you might as well go ahead and key on every play. While the key rule is stated as an option, I see it as essential to use throughout any game, as it tones down the play results. 4) As to the question, "What is the penalty if you guess/key wrong?" Simple: You give up the full yardage on the play result. I don't see a need to create a new rule/penalty amounting to double jeopardy against the offense — but to each his own, and if it makes your stats come out better as part of your overall method of play, that's great. #APBAFootball #apbafootballclub #apbafootballhistory #tabletopfootball #tabletopsports #footballgames #footballhistory #NFL #apbafootballdemo.
