When MSc Urbanisation and Development student Maddy Diment asked a question about working in Paris or Rome in the food or sustainability sector after graduation via Ask an Alum, the AI tool that connects students and alumni, the question was matched to alumna Ria Sen, who works for the UN’s World Food Programme. She responded. Maddy and Ria talk about how the initial exchange has led to an enduring friendship and mentorship.
