This division is arguably one of the historically weakest in boxing history as it's one of the newest and didn't receive much world wide recognition until the amazing WBSS tournament that was won by Oleksandr Usyk in 2018. Evander Holyfield dominated his era in the mid 1980's and Usyk dominated a very strong era in the 2010's so it was very difficult to separate them and they're basically interchangeable for me. Cruiserweight has had it's fair share of talented fighters over the years but more often than not, it's mainly viewed as a transitional weight class and many fighters move up to Heavyweight for bigger bouts and more money. Please note that these aren't where I rank the fighters historically, just how much I personally like to watch them. If a fighter isn't included here it doesn't mean that I don't like them, they're just not a favorite of mine in this weight class.
