TIPS • Chill the Dough: For thicker cookies with less spreading, chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. • Measuring ingredients: use a digital scale for best accuracy and consistent results. • Butter Temperature: Make sure your butter is at room temperature, not melted or too hard, for the perfect texture. • Mixer Tip: You can use a mixer for the entire cookie-making process, from creaming the butter and sugar to combining the dry ingredients. Just make sure to mix on low speed when adding the dry ingredients to avoid overmixing. • Cream Butter and Sugar Well: When creaming the butter and sugar, beat them together until the mixture is light, fluffy, and pale in color. This helps create a smooth texture in the cookies and ensures they spread evenly. • Don’t Overmix: When combining the dry ingredients with the wet, mix just until everything is incorporated. Overmixing can lead to tough cookies. • Watch the Oven: Start checking your cookies around the 10-minute mark. The edges should be golden, and the center should still look slightly soft. • Store Pr.
