We are halfway through the year 2000 and the WWF continues to dominate WCW every week. WCW are running with Goldberg as a heel while the WWF are having babyfaces chase after Triple H's championship, but fans are voting with their remotes as the popularity of Raw is War remains steady. WCW Nitro, on the other hand, has nosedived in the TV ratings. This week on Nitro Vince Russo promises to retire Ric Flair for good. In order for this to happen a match gets booked; Russo and David Flair vs Ric Flair. If Ric wins he'll take control of WCW once again (and he'll also shave Russo's head), if Russo wins then Ric will have to leave the wrestling business forever. An old rivalry gets reignited in the main event when Kevin Nash faces Goldberg. On Raw The Undertaker, Kane and Rock continue their push for the number 1 contendership. The McMahon-Helsmley faction go after Kane and they manage to take a photo of the Big Red Machine unmasked, and they use this photo as a way to blackmail Kane.
