Vince McMahon and Eric Bischoff once produced wrestling shows that both aired on Monday Nights that were incredibly popular, gaining high viewership across America while creating a boom period within professional wrestling itself. These shows were “WWF Raw” on the USA Network and “WCW Nitro” on TNT. Nitro was created to specifically compete with the WWF's Raw show, and so, two of wrestling's most prolific companies went head to head in a time period known as "The Monday Night Wars". This series by Wrestling Bios takes a look at each episode of Raw and Nitro and compares the shows. This episode takes at look at both Raw and Nitro shows from 25 September 1995. This was the first ever time that both Raw and Nitro went live at the same time on Monday nights (Raw had been taped in the weeks prior). The WWF had just finished their In Your House 3 pay per view show while WCW were starting their promotional work for Halloween Havoc 1995. Nitro featured stars such as Disco Inferno, Arn Anderson and Lex Luger while the WWF presented guys like The Undertaker, Marty Jannetty and The British Bulldog.
