With a short amount of promotion, the WWF presented This Tuesday in Texas towards the end of 1991 almost immediately following their Survivor Series 1991 show. This Tuesday in Texas turned out to be a decent show, but it didn’t generate the revenue nor viewership that the WWF had hoped. The WWF used much of the 1991 Survivor Series to promote This Tuesday in Texas, mainly with the Randy Savage vs Jake Roberts match that many had assumed would happen at the Survivor Series.
