We are going to take a look at Jermall Charlo's fight against Cornelius Bundrage. These two USA fighters were involved in a 12-round championship fight for the IBF World Super Welterweight title. At the time of the fight, Bundrage was the champion and after several successful defenses Charlo was his new challenger The fight took place in Foxwoods Resort, Connecticut USA So guys that was a clear-cut TKO win for Charlo. At no point in that fight did he look concerned. Maintained his composure throughout. Now he didn't control the fight with his jab as he didn't really use it that often but did use it to close the distance for the right hand and hurt Bundrage with a stiff placement. That's also the story of the first 2 knockdowns. The third knockdown came through wonderful foot feints and a looping left hook. The smooth movement of his approach combined with the foot feints was blended almost to perfection. You can watch that segment a few times and appreciate its flow However, with all that said and done I don't think we want to see another Charlo step into the ring again with Canelo. Now Jermall might favour better in a fight against Canelo than his brother. He has a similar weight to Canelo and is known for using his lengthy jab which could cause problems for the shorter Canelo.
