[read more...] Originally from Seattle and interested in studying medicine, Matt's pastor recommended The Master's University. After visiting on a President's Scholarship weekend, Matt was torn between Master's and the University of Washington. The big school experience, however, did not promise the love and intentionality displayed by the people Matt had met at TMU. Matt prayed for a career that would allow him to pursue his interest and also serve God. He soon discovered the rigors of the pre-med program at TMU. Still, Matt appreciated the small class sizes where peers developed close friendships with each other and also with the faculty who invested in their students excelling in academics and even in their walk with the Lord.
