Not really sure what I just watched. It's like a movie length "Afterschool Special," if you're old enough to understand. You know, a moral lesson on platitudes of right and wrong. That's actually a "plus," but it just made this so boring to watch unless you're like 10 or something. The story itself is just weird. Ok, it's like they took pieces from other superhero movies and pieced together this weird movie. Thor's hammer (check) Batman's Bain (check) Joker's anarchy revolution (check) Bruce Willis' unbreakable (check) The action parts are not bad, but again the film is just not very serious. It's for kids. Rest was just boring and I was falling asleep. If I have to evaluate it as a whole, I would say it was a good idea but poorly executed. 4/10.

I have no idea of the origins of the characters in the film, but being a Stallone fan I had to give it a watch. A great and stylish beginning leads to a decent and well paced story, with good supporting acting backing up Stallone and his usual grunty and menacing style (nothing wrong with that if you are a fan). The storyline is predictable of course, at least to a point, but that doesn't make it boring to watch, with some nice touches here and there and a few moral lessons thrown in for good measure. There are some good set pieces too, and a good ending. Overall then, worth a watch if you are a fan of sci-fi/superhero/anti-hero films and don't mind Slys "acting".

Sly Stallone has actually gotten better! While others(Arnie, Bruce,) have gotten worse as they age, Sly has achieved new heights from his already towering career. Without ruining the plot, a hero has fallen, both figuratively and literally, and hasn't been seen in decades. But why and what happened? What caused him to go into hiding? It's a realistic hero movie that modern movies now lack and made on a smaller budget, which helped the story telling. If you love the Dark Knight, Spidermn 2, Hulk TV series, this is almost hero perfection. There are some twists and turns, but it all comes together and is one of the best movies in 2022, and the best hero movie since the Dark Knight. I consider the Winter Soldier the best MCU movie, this challenges it and to me, is a slight bit better depending on your taste. Sly was ways a good actor and has gotten even better. Sly conveys emotions and is believable as a hero. What Batman Beyond as a movie should/could have been, but Sly did it first. Samaritan is a 10 out of 10. Smaller budget movie made an impact and produced the best movie of 2022.

Is this the best superhero movie ever made, hell no, is it the worst movie ever made, not by a long shot. Stallone plays to his strengths here no long bits of dialogue for him to chew over, check some good action scenes, check vulnerable young kid for him to save, check -some dodgy CGI, check twist in the end you didn't see coming, unless you are that person at work who sees every twist before they even start watching it, check actor who makes you say to your family, "who is that guy?, what else was he in?" Check laughter track, when you realise it was the annoying kid from Hannah Montana, and the only way he has grown in 15 years is the addition of multi coloured cornrows, check reasonably good supporting cast, especially the main bad guy, and then when you realise who it is, and what he was in, makes you hate "the dans" for ruining the end of game of thrones, because that's how Euron Greyjoy should have been Joking aside, it's a good movie and you won't want the 2 hours back as wasted time, I'd be a happy man if Stallone kept churning out films like this till he enters the pearly gates, yes he's old, but would I want to pick a fight with him god no. Well done Stallone sir, as it says in this movie "I'm a fan"

Stallone looks great still kicking ass in his 70's. Love this movie and wish they would have included it in The Boys universe. Would have been a fun cross over. Great for Stallone and super hero fans Good fun. Give it a watch. You will enjoy it. The actor that played the bad guy did a great job. Enjoyable film to watch with fans of superhero films. Stallone is at his best when plays an underdog. This film. Had good special effects and pretty good score. I hope they make a sequel for another Stallone Franchise. Fun family action film. Stallone looked great and shows he has got some great action movies in him to star in.
