It’s unlikely we see any running backs go in the first-round this year, but there are plenty of day two and early day three options for teams looking to upgrade their backfields. There’s a clear two-man top tier leading the way, and we’ll discuss them first in this top-40 breakdown. I provided in-depth profiles for the top 20 prospects in this article, including comments on their physical measurements, production, and traits. I’m planning on adding those details for the remaining running backs in the top 30 throughout today. Running backs after 30 will only have their measurements and production listed. Feel free to tell me in the comments or on Twitter @Sam_Teets33 if you believe a certain prospect should rank higher. Let me know if I missed anyone.
