We were such babies then. We didn’t really know what we were doing, but we had high hopes and even loftier dreams. This arrangement of Rolling in the Deep by Adele was a bit of a struggle. Sometimes we get the arrangements right the first time, but this one was made right by good ol' trial and error. It was important to us that we make this arrangement our own, and we feel we did that with this song, especially in the bridge. The violin solo we wrote really brings out our virtuosity, and we feel it also really creates a great build that leads perfectly to the last chorus. Where to film the video was also a struggle. Our arrangement has a bit of a rugged feeling to it, so we wanted to find a rugged location to match this. We had heard about these domes near Casa Grande in Arizona, so we thought we'd check it out. Some say these domes are haunted and that sketchy rituals take place here. But that didn’t deter us from filming - and nothing bad happened to us haha. Besides being a great video, Rolling in the Deep launched our careers as independent musicians, giving us the ability to take control of our lives. And what a great feeling that is!
