Dennis Rodman was already quite friendly with Hulk Hogan before 1997, Rodman had escorted Hogan to the ring during the 1995 Bash at the Beach main event. But when Rodzilla joined the nWo in 1997 and went on to compete in WCW Pay Per View shows, the media went into a frenzy and all eyes were on WCW. Between missing practice to show up on WCW Nitro and wrestling Karl Malone at the 1998 Bash at the Beach show, Dennis Rodman's time in wrestling was quite remarkable.
