While the nWo stayed on Raw, Hulk Hogan was moved to Smackdown during the very first WWF Draft. It didn't take long for the Hulkster to put on his classic red and yellow colors as Hulkamania would begin running wild again on the Smackdown brand. Hulk Hogan was named the number 1 contender for the Undisputed Championship. Triple H vs Hulk Hogan took place at Backlash 2002, and Hulk Hogan rose to the top once again when he became the new Undisputed champion. Hulk defended the belt against the likes of Chris Jericho and Ric Flair, but Hogan's reign came to an end rather abruptly after getting defeated by The Undertaker at Judgment Day. From here, Hulk would begin a rivalry with Kurt Angle and he'd also begin a quite succesful tag team with Edge. After getting taken out by Brock Lesnar, Hogan returned in 2003 to begin a short feud with The Rock. Rock was now the heel while Hogan was the good guy. After their No Way Out 2003 match, Hulk Hogan's ongoing rivalry with Vince McMahon came to a head at WrestleMania XIX in a match that was billed as "20 years in the making". Mr. America came next, and then, Hogan disappeared from the WWE.
