Raw and Nitro aired at the same time on Monday Nights, and fans had to choose which show they would watch; this resulted in both WCW and WWF putting out some of their best shows possible as pro wrestling became an extremely popular form of mainstream entertainment. The WWF are getting ready for Armageddon 2000 where a 6-man Hell in a Cell match is going to take place. Kurt Angle will defend his title at the pay per view in the WWF's most brutal match, but someone who doesn't want the match to happen is Vince McMahon. McMahon thinks there's too much risk involved, and he's determined to get the match called off. On WCW Nitro Sid Vicious gets himself put in jail at the start of the show. This greatly upsets Scott Steiner who was hoping to confront Sid on tonight's episode of Nitro.
