With great sadness, we received the news that GM Paquet passed away in Rio de Janeiro on the 17 November 2013. We release this short video of him training with Rico Vieira at the Checkmat academy in Rio de Janeiro as a tribute to his life and contribution to Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He never had an academy and never produced a champion, he was simply a normal man who loved jiu-jitsu and in his many years on the mat he inspired many.
