Before the match with Shawn Michaels happened, Bret Hart had already signed a contract with WCW, ensuring he would earn a cool $2.5 million dollars per year, for 3 years. The Bret Hart WCW debut was not quite what anyone expected though. Throughout his WCW career, on paper, Bret Had a good run when it came to capturing championships. He won the US title 4 times, the tag team titles once and he captured the WCW World title twice.
