Beginning their feud at the 1997 King of the Ring and going all the way to WrestleMania 2000, Foley and Helmsley climbed the WWF together by having some exciting matches on TV and Pay Per View. The first PPV match between Helmsley and Mankind took place at the King of The Ring in 1997 and immediately following this show, the two superstars would work against eachother in the 2 WWF PPVs that followed (Canadian Stampede and Summerslam). The Triple H vs Mankind feud of 1997 would lead to Cactus Jack making his WWF debut, an alter-ego of Mick Foley who was considered even more dangerous than Mankind. In 1999, the feud was re-ignited when Hunter joined Vince McMahon's Corporation while guys like Mankind and The Rock done battle with the faction. It all came to a head in early 2000 when Mick Foley (as Cactus Jack) faced Triple H in 2 PPV matches, a no DQ match at the 2000 Royal Rumble, and a Hell in a Cell match at No Way Out.
