K-12 is a great movie that tackles serious and important subjects. I recommend everyone to see this beautiful work!

K-12 was all that was promised: an eerie enchanting musical film. As a longtime fan of Melanie, I was very excited to hear that she was directing and writing her first feature film for her first album and she truly delivered. The music fit well with the storyline and the acting could have been a bit better but other than that, and the script could have been improved but other than that, Melanie did an amazing job on her first feature film and it is a perfect film for fans and new fans of Melanie Martinez to enjoy along with the new album.

Nap time where you can crawl into your own world? A bus that flies in the air? Your outfit and hair changing every single time? Yes please. This movie has interesting songs and messages mixed in here.

I love Melanie's videos. They transport me to a world I always love to escape to. I can't come up with a better word, but her "shtick" is extremely unique. I always come back to her stuff when I want a good whack of what I have to say, is pure nostalgia wrought in video and music form. This movie is a visual feast. The music is cool, but I really dig what goes on visually more than the music. I love to visit these wonderful heavenly places she has created. It is amazing and amazingly unique.

Beautiful atmosphere and mise en scene this film almost manages to be berable. At too long to be worth your money it is definitely an experience I don't regret, but won't be one I'll see again. If you like costuming and sets this is worth a watch just for the aesthetics alone but poor writing, poorer acting and a plot that goes no where really bring what could be great down. If it's on sale I'd reccomend, at full price? Nah.

I love Melanie's music, but this is such a big disappointment. This movie has absolutely no plot and for the whole time I had no idea what was going on. The scenes aren't connected at all, the acting is horrible, dialogues sound like they were written by a 5 year old. The movie brings up every issue of society, but in the worst way possible - I felt like it was just forced down my throat, fake, and completely unrelated to the (nonexistant) plot. The visuals and music is beautiful, but the rest is just so disappointing. I couldn't stop cringing throughout the whole movie because of how bad it is.
