Forest of Death

This was my first DBS Film, and in all honesty, I had a good time. Did I have my problems with it, sure. But to be fair I have issues with almost everything I watch. There are definitely things I would have done differently, and because of the slower pacing I don't know how much focus I would've been able to maintain if I tried to watch it by myself, mainly because of my own attention span issues, watching it with friends was an enjoyable experience. Would I make changes? Yes. Would I recommend this movie to people? Also yes. Only "major" complaint if I had to make one would be that sometimes the characters ignore information they've been given and make decisions that us as the viewer look at as stereotypical horror trope decisions, something I wouldn't mind seeing less of. Hoping in the future (or in other DBS movies I just haven't seen yet) they decide to make characters do smart, "non-typical" things, even if those things don't work the way they want to. Failure on the good guys part is never a problem, but "stupidity" just makes me cheer for the bad guy.

Forest of Death is a terrifying movie that will definitely have you rethinking those summer camping plans. This isn't your typical cookie cutter horror film. Forest of Death has a plot that is original and will keep you on the edge of your seat. The Rudnicki brothers of DBS Films have once again outdone themselves, proving they not only understand the horror genre, but that they aim to make the movies the fans want! Forest of Death is non-stop thrills and scares from the very first scene until the end credits begin to roll. If you enjoy being creeped out, this film is going to do it for you! Enjoy!

Fantastic movie and a great mix of classic and psychological horror. Pacing of the film works incredibly well and the cinematography is spot on. High quality indie film without the same 5 reused actors in horror - honestly the actress Chloe stole the show. Without spoiling the movie, you're in for great character development, well-timed jump scares (I hate movies that put them in with no value - but Forest of Death used them incredibly well), and an awesome soundtrack. If you love indie horror and want to branch out from the big three, DBS Films did a fantastic job at breaking the mold and creating unique content and a compelling story.

If you're a fan of jump scares and overall suspenseful movie moods, then I can easily say this is the film for you. Forest of Death is scary in the fact that if you don't know your friends well, you can end up paying dearly for it. I absolutely loved the music and I'm proud of the improvements this film incorporated when compared to its predecessors; I feel like every time DBS Films creates something, their quality of product expands and I'm definitely here to witness that growth and cheer the creators on. Really excited to see more movies from DBS Films! They have a creative flare for movies.

I recently watched a horror movie that left me completely satisfied, and at the same time, terrified. The movie was an expertly crafted masterpiece with a well-written story that kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. The tension was built up and effectively, keeping me waiting anxiously for the next scare. The jump scenes were perfectly timed, each one sending a chill down my spine and leaving me with an unshakable sense of dread. One of the movie's greatest strengths was its characters. They were well-developed, each with their own unique personalities and motivations. The performances were convincing, making it easy for me to connect with them and feel invested in their fate. I found myself feeling every twist and turn of the story as if it was happening to me. The cinematography and sound design of the movie were also exceptional. Each shot was expertly framed to highlight the fear and anxiety of the situation. The sound design was equally impressive, with a haunting that stayed with me long after the movie ended.

I absolutely loved this movie very terrifying. Each character had very appealing story arcs and helped move the plot along. This thriller had me on the edge of my seat. I'm not the biggest horror genre fan but this film peaked my interest. And I really enjoyed seeing familiar faces from other characters throughout DBS films collection. Each performer gave new life to their characters. It definitely has replay ability and I can't wait to see what DBS comes up with next. After watching this film there's no heights DBS can't reach and I'm excited to be able to be apart of it as it continues to grow.

Forest of Death has to be one of the better films DBS has produced. Something about the cinematography was my favorite part of the movie. The setting of the film looked beautiful. The acting was decent; some lines were clunky so the delivery could have been better. But that didn't take away from the story. You may have seen the story before but you should still watch it. It's always fun to see new takes on stories you know. And this film wasn't a bad take at all. There were some moments when the editing seemed a bit weird, but they happened so fast I don't believe most people will catch it. The movie is just barely longer than an hour, and what else are you going to be doing with your time? If you don't mind B movies supporting new actors, writers, and hell film studios, please check this out-a good watch.

So I just got done watching Forest Of Death and..... WOW!!! Is all I can say!! This one is by far one of my favorites by DBSfilms!! Kellan and Brendan are amazing filmmakers and I can't wait to see what else they have in store for us! Thank you guys both for another amazing horror movie and for all that you guys do for us in the Discord group!! Also LOVED the jumpscare at the end!💕 You guys need to see this movie!! It is a must watch!! Don't get me wrong, the other movies are also great but this one is over the top!!💕 Sorry, I'm just rambling on but really you guys need to watch it!!
