Romantic and amusing Spanish comedy in which three sympathetic actors , Ana Fernández, Alejo Sauras, Rodrigo Guirao, become involved into improbable romantic situations . This enticing comedy contains emotion , mirth , and lots of jokes and laughs. Dealing with Oli (Ana Fernández), she is a saleswoman in a perfume store who catches the attention of a successful Argentine actor Eric Soto (Rodrigo Guirao), by helping him when he is robbed, watching her knock down and knock out a criminal. The counterpoint to this apparent idyllic situation is provided by the protagonist's best friend, Carlos (Alejo Sauras); however, he results to be gay. Entertaining romantic comedy with fine actors , adequate cinematography , sensitive score and professional direction . The film moves in fits and starts most of which would be desirable, with more traps the viewer resists any kind, and some moments of enjoyment and others quite a few embarrassing . The flick relies heavily on the continued relationship among three starring , about their breaking up and loving relation again and so on ; but it doesn't make boring but entertaining . Fun but predictable romantic comedy with full of romances, entertainment , messes, humor and sheer amusement . 6 years after directing ¨Mentiras y gordas¨ with some of the best-known faces of the TVE series, Alfonso Albacete presents a story that many teenagers dream of: starting a sentimental relationship with the famous character you admire. This is what happens to Ana Fernández (Los protejidos or The Protected), a fan girl finds herself torn between the attraction for her idol and her best male friend, they're: Rodrigo Guirao Diaz (Señora Acero) and Alejo Sauras (Los Serrano). The premiere of the film was especially hard for Ana Fernández, who a few months ago suffered the death of her partner, Santi Trancho, a television cameraman who makes a brief cameo in the film. Along with three likable protagonists, in ¨Solo química¨ appears a great support cast with plenty of known faces, such as: María Esteve, Jose Coronado, Neus Asensi, Natalia de Molina, Martina Klein, Alex Monner, Silvia Marsó, Bibiana Fernández, Cuca Escribano, Cristina Brondo, Antonio Garrido, Rossy de Palma, Mireia Ros, Adrià Collado, among others. It displays a lively musical score by Juan Manuel Sueiro. And, of course, including the title song: ¨Sólo química¨ written by Alaska (as Olvido Gara), Nacho Canut (as Ignacio Canut) and Juan Manuel Sueiro, performed by Fangoria. In addition, a colorful and brilliant cinematography by Carles Gusi. The film was professionally but regularly directed by Alfonso Albacete. There is nothing new here, we had already seen most of the unlikely romantic situations before and with even better results. Alfonso Albacete usually collaborates on directing duties with David Menkes. They're well experts directors and writers , being specially known for Atómica (1998), Más que amor, frenesí (1996) , Entre vivir y soñar (2004) , Mentiras y gordas (2009) , Sobreviviré (1999) and Solo Quimica (2015) . This ¨Just a little chemistry¨ is the first film in which he does not collaborate with his usual director partner David Menkes and followed by The Bride of America (2023). Rating Sólo química(2015) : 5/10. Mediocre but agreeable comedy . Only for hardcore fans of silly Spanish comedy with crazy events .

Fun movie, great dialog, gorgeous guys, lots of Chemistry - I loved the movie. This is one I could watch again and again. You could feel the chemistry and Rodrigo is one good looking guy! We need to see more of him in these kinds of movies. He looks at home in a tux too. It does have subtitles but it's worth the watch. Ana is cute and quirky like a Bridget Jones or Pretty Woman type. Alejo was cute and good too but not as cute as Rodrigo. The cover photo does not do it justice. If you are like me, always looking for a new romantic comedy with cute guys and good dialog, you will enjoy this movie. I submitted a few movie clips so you can see how cute Rodrigo is. He is a model and musician but we need to encourage him to keep acting.

It a nice story but i'd wish it was in English to hard to read the subtitles you usually have back the story up because you miss something felt like i'd was reading a book instead of watch ing a movie
