Magandang pelikula!

A lot of things could have been better but this movie is a B+ Movie. its not great cgi, acting, the plot was 5/10 could have used more Drama better scripting would have added a lot of value to this movie. I am happy to see some one other then crappy wood making good, OK movies. They well get there and this is in the right direction. The Hollywood junk that's been coming out, is not worth the box offices its even in the new star wars movie sucked!!! Most if not all should have gone to Netflix or Blu-ray. The story was out there but its sci-fi not a some thing else. Also to point out some fact's if the plane was made to go in to space it would be very light in fact do I believe It could have landed On a CVN yes with out fuel and Reverse thrusts yes with maybe 5-8 secs of get the heck off be for going over yes. Now For drama they slow it down witch makes it perfect they should have add emergency Witch it is missing. I know they don't have arrest lines but it's sci fi fool's Uses your imaginations Bollywood hands ever thing to you In a nice box all raped up. If not you down the move for plot holes ech ech........ I want New Story's with some thing I can feel not have it given to me. Like this a-b are a couple. c is mad at b. a hates c. c and b fight.I have seen to many movies out on blueray that are F rated not b or c rated. There are so many bad movies out there this is not one of them it's not great but not bad.

This has got to be one of the worst films ever produced. I have never bothered to write a review before but I found this movie so awful I feel compelled to do so. The story is beyond stupid and horrendous,the majority of the acting is amateurish at best other than Brandon Routh and a few other performances (its unbelievable that he would agree to act in this project, and I can't even understand the majority of what Yuqi Zhang says in English which is what the vast majority of her speaking lines are (not sure why they would hire someone to speak English who clearly can't be understood). I am so disappointed in this movie and would recommend no one waste their time watching it.

Wow, i don't know where to begin. Its not often i'll even take the time to post on here, but when i see a movie this gawd awful, I feel it my civic duty to do so. What seemed like a good start to a delightful "movie nite' turned out to be anything but that. I figured hey, Superman is in it, cant be that bad or low budget like some of the other SYFY movies out there, but I was wrong--dead wrong. First of all, are they trying to mimic Steven Seagall, when he was a cook in the movie (cant remember the name off hand) and he ended up being a bad-ass navy seal on the aircraft carrier? I think that was the theme they were going for, but Routh was neither convincing, nor a good actor in this movie, his lines were minimal at best. Probably the very worst element of this movie was the "cats". Not only did they NOT look real, and were obviously low low low grade CGI, but they were about the size of an average house cat, and personally I would have probably tossed out a rubber mouse if they came at me---they were "that" un-intimidating. These were the "monsters" of the movie? WOW, i've been more scared of the Gremlins --BEFORE they ate at midnite..And landing a large commercial airliner on a 300-500 foot carrier? Cmon, these planes need at least like half a mile or so to land. If you want a good laugh, then watch this, if you want ANYTHING BUT a good laugh--don't!....

This movie is not that bad as some of the reviewers say. Probably its biggest sin is because it tried to be too much at once: it is a mix of many genres, sci-fi, horror, mystery, thriller, adventure, etc. The script could have been better, some of the actors were definitely miscast, but it is forgivable, because overall, the movie was entertaining and suspenseful. The director did a good job, there were some decent scares and I loved the spooky ambiance very much. I enjoyed the ride, and even though I will probably not re-watch it, I liked this movie. So I would recommend it to others, just don't expect a masterpiece.

This movie makes it appear that Asylum has set up an office in Asia. Firstly, if the movie was going to be based on a mega upgrade of an existing airframe for an authentic aircraft manufacturer it might have been worthwhile to at least talk to them and determine a few details so that some technical specifications would be correct. For not a whole lot of dollars they could have hired a pilot to act as a technical adviser and maybe then they wouldn't have been doing things like making miracle landings on tiny airfields in the middle of the Pacific and most definitely not being foolish enough to try and land on an aircraft carrier. Oh, and by the way, when take-off has started, there is no way two people could run fast enough to run up to some kind of escape hatch without being blown away by the exhaust from the engines. I'm not even going to discuss the CGI other than to say I believe I've seen better cartoons on Saturday mornings than those "cats" they were using. I'm sure in the Chinese languages a lot of what was in the script made perfect sense and was very dramatic but when it got translated to English it sounded very stilted and cheesy. IF you're going to make a picture primarily for an English speaking audience, please use English screenwriters and perhaps you will have a much better go of it. Whether it was the script, the direction or simply the actors, much of what appeared on screen bordered on some high-school play. Sorry, but this movie is really not worth the time to view it.

This movie definitely deserves a much better rating than the current one of 3.9. Yes there were some clichés, typical for the sci-fi/horror genre, but I liked the suspense and I was not bored for a single second, while watching it. I also liked the ambiance and there was some nice and colorful scenery in certain parts of the movie. The director did a decent job, but maybe he could get more out of the cast. I must mention the CGI, which is believable and more than solid for Chinese production. Don't expect to be swept away from your feet, but I WOULD recommend this movie to all the horror and sci-fi lovers. It is an OK flick for a night-time watch.

I love watching movies from foreign productions, because I got a little bored by Hollywood blockbusters, that are all starting to look alike. And I honestly enjoyed in this one. Cast could have been a little better, with a few more experienced actors, but overall it was a good time waster. If you are not to picky when it comes to sci-fi/thrillers (with some elements of horror), you could like this movie. I liked the action scenes, and there were some extremely hot chicks in the movie. Its CGI was surprisingly good for the Chinese production. I wish I could say more about it without writing spoilers, but give it a shot, you might enjoy in it, like I did.

Definitely not that bad sci-fi/thriller flick with some horror elements, as some of the folks say. If you go into a cinema open minded and if you are a fan of movies from this genre, there is a high chance that you will like it. This is not a Hollywood blockbuster, but a movie from the Chinese Production., with a nice cast, some very effective CGI scenes and solid director's work. The story is not so original but was good enough for me to enjoy the movie. I couldn't find some major plot holes, because the story is not that complex to understand and follow. I would recommend it and it deserved 6/10 rating from me! Go and give it a chance.
