A sugary water novel, with the pigeons differential, after all, I had never seen any that dealt with the theme, Pigeon racing, which is the breeding of racing pigeons for competition... A charlatan protagonist, but with a happy ending...

That dude can't act. If a pigeon played his role, would have shown better emotions. He's reciting the lousy script, and with the lack of music at most parts when needed, the whole movie is as flat as an ECG of a corpse. That girl at least is more excited for the stick she falls in love. Gets an extra star for the true story of the pigeon in WW1, that was insightfull. An average Joe review.

Heart warming story and beautifully acted. Unique story plot about racing pigeons and falling in love.

Jamie Dornan was fantastic in 50 shades style. He is a Model and handsome and beautiful man but not an actor.

Colin (Jamie Dornan) is a Wall Street high flyer who goes to Dubai to convince a Sheikh to invest in his company's fund rather than his rival. The sheikh reveals that he is a fan of competitive pigeon racing and dreams of winning the prestigious Barcelona pigeon race. However to do that he needs a fast pigeon, one owned by a grouchy old Belgian who refuses to part with it even though he has been offered sackful of cash by the Arab. Taking the hint, Colin descends to Belgium on the pretext of finding a war grave of his ancestor and falls for the old man's granddaughter. This is small scale film, it has some charm but it was better done in films such as Local Hero. I just thought this got boring very quickly.

I just watched this movie.I found myself binge watching The Fall and I quite enjoyed Jamie Dornan's performance there, so I decided to have a look at the rest of his work,after having watched FSOG.The movie was much better than I had expected,bearing in mind that the whole pigeon racing sounded a bit boring.It was corny I guess but again,you know that you are about to watch a romantic movie so many things can be excused I suppose.I found his performance decent and pretty acceptable and the way he coloured his characher proves that he definitely has acting skills.The photography was excellent,the rest of the cast was great as well so..If you are looking for an OK movie to spend your time and at the same time admire the looks of the main lead..there you have it!
