Description

The TV series Langsuan Panyuthapum - Mr. Mean หลังสวน พันธ์ยุทธภูมิ (Highlight) | Muay Khao Fighters, created by an unlisted creator and produced by an unlisted studio, first premiered on September 15, 2018 in an unspecified country. The series spans 0 seasons with 0 episodes, featuring the voices of an unlisted voice cast. It follows the story of Muay Thai highlight of golden era Muay Khao Langsuan Panyuthapum หลังสวน พันธ์ยุทธภูมิ. Nicknamed 'Mr. Mean', Langsuan Panyuthapum was a fierce knee-fighter in the 80s and 90s who won multiple Lumpinee titles and was awarded the Fighter of the Year Award in 1987. He was one of the first Thais to fight abroad when he appeared on the infamous Picket's Lock show in London in 1990 and demonstrated his beautiful muay khao style to the western world. As well as a being able to smother many of his opponents to take away their space, Langsuan could also work with space very efficiently and deliver knee strikes at range, moving in and out at will. In my opinion, this type pf knee-fighting style is incredibly beautiful to watch and is in contrast to the style of fighting that the majority of modern-day knee-fighters exhibit who mostly charge forward with knee strikes that don't show much effect. The muay khao style has now turned into a point-scoring contest which lacks the intricacies and beauty of the golden era style, unfortunately. To study the variety of Langsuan's knee-strikes further and to observe one of the most mesmerising Muay khao performances in history, watch Langsuan vs Samson Issan. If somebody could link the fight in the comments section I'd be extremely grateful as I can't seem to locate it on YouTube.
