LITERALLY LIKE MY FAVORITE MOVIE AS A KID XD porter and spectra were just a great duo thats 100% I loved the chain storyline and thought it was a good way to trap people idk I love it... I rewatched it today at 14 years and I still love it!
It's a 7/10 for me. Personally, I found it good, but boring at times. Great plot though!
The story is so bad that I wasn't sure if I was watching a rip-off of Monster High or that Monster High was just a punchline in this movie. The animation is fine and I do love the colors the animators put effort to, but the characters are mostly either not like what they were before or the ones that are smart enough are just too mean spirited. The setting is alright, but the plot is just too idiotic to be considered a Monster High movie. Ones who don't know anything about Monster High, do not watch this movie, that's all. I would give the story 3/10 due to being just stupid or mean spirited, animation 7/10 for mostly colors and motion, and characters 3/10 for not even trying.
As much as I love Monster High, and the amazing animation, this movie was just bad. From beginning to end it's just too bland and missing those key elements that make Monster High so special. Like always, they suffered with adding characters. Rochelle barely talked throughout the whole movie along with the new characters. I liked Porter and would have loved to see him and Spectra together, but it felt like he was all in and she was somewhere else. Plus, the whole Headmistress thing confused me. Especially when they allowed her to stay. Overall, just not that great. At least there was a terrific lesson added in, though.
