Barot House

Story was very good but the better direction was missed. I was expecting a better cinematography too but I think this project was done by bunch of amateurs. I would give 8.5 stars for story but 4 stars for cinematography and 5 star for direction out of 10.

Just saw today and being a thriller writer myself, I can only say that it's a great story, I did not find any error. All the actors brilliantly lived their characters. Screenplay, direction, camera angle, visual composition all just unique. Heartfelt congratulations to the entire team, especially to the author. Sanjay Agnihotri Novelist

A must watch movie briliant story Superb acting by all specially by child artist

First of all, let me talk about the acting. Amazing performance by each and every character. The kids were amazing. Manjari Phadnis was excellent. Amit Sadh, as brilliant as always. There was no room for an average performance also. They were all simply excellent. I can't stop appreciating the kid enough. Malhar ( character name) . He was perfect. The story is something you can't even imagine would happen since you know it's based on true events. It's a continuous thrill ride. You just keep watching from, start to end. It's about the murders of kids and the investigation. I still can't find the original case that this story was based on. I searched and searched and searched .. Great movie, don't miss !

Manjari Fadnnis is so beautiful...I loved every part of her performance...

This is a nice thriller..script is good and suspense is interesting but acting is average..so it could have been better..but not suitable for children

FYI, This movie is inspired from a true event. It has the power to grip you on the edge of your seat right from the first minute to until the end. Brilliant performances by the talented kids and the lead actors. I enjoyed it thoroughly. P.S. - Don't miss the last 2 minutes.

Barot House (Zee5) - The Barot household is plunged into a dark phase when two of the four children, both girls are found murdered in close succession. Their mother Bhavana (Manjari Phadnis) is driven to the point of a mental depression whilst their father Amit (Amit Sadh) grapples with the incidents. His younger brother who had just finished a jail term is arrested by the police but he maintains his innocence. Then a calamitous third murder of the neighbour's child takes place. Barot House is the portrayal of a deeply disturbed mind, replete with cunning complexity of a neurological disorder. The fragile relationship between Amit and his son Malhar, the eldest child, is indeed pivotal. The needle of suspicion keeps swinging helter skelter but the catharsis in the end spells cruelty, lack of remorse and the labyrinthine mind of a master manipulator. These kind of events are normally not common, but this is what criminal minds are made of.

Little bit extended and unnecessary scenes but worth a watch.

Fab writing. Fab story line. A thriller that makes you think you cracked it and then leaves you thinking it was all a lie. And knowing its inspired from a real story makes it more shocking. The kid acting is bang on. Worth one time watch.
