A true justice to epic character "Girdhari Lal". Along with entertainment they have also conveyed nice messages of unconditional love for all. If you are expecting typical love story then this movie is definitely not for you. ** I truly found Kujeet Kaur Gill extremely beautiful. Kudos to entire team.

This is an awsome comedy punjabi movie & not just a comedy movie, it also gives a meaningful message at the end. Loved watching it. Not a single minute of the movie was boring!

I looked at the negative reviews on here before watching. But because I am a fan of Gippy I thought I'm going to judge it myself. It's a great movie. Easy going comedy and it's someone who is a simple Guy who speaks the truth and very open. Great concept and great music.

Can't watch it in family!! It should be banned as they played with punjabi culture. Dialogues are abusive. They are trying to show so negative in punjabi history.

I loved the other two movies that Gippy Grewal directed, Ardaas and Ardaas Karaan -- I found both of them very moving. But I want to second the people who posted negative reviews of Shava Ni Girdhari Lal. The main character seems inconsistently portrayed, sometimes as a simpleton, sometimes as a wise man. In addition, despite her top billing, Neeru Bajwa only has a small role in the film. There is a lack of a compelling storyline as well. I found myself unable to concentrate fully on the narrative because I was bored. Also, the ending is either a masterful art-film type of ending, full of ambiguity -- or a cop-out. I vote for the latter. The cinematography and some of the costumes, however, were quite beautiful.

Not a movie for everyone. Movie for intellectuals and those who have felt that time and have nostalgia. It is a complete film if you can feel. Otherwise don't watch it.

Good movie with very new concept. I didnot watched movie due to low imdb rating when after some days when i watched it was amazing. Acting is very good, good dialogues. Delightful aheading Ending is rare type but describes the soulful concept. May be not everybody's taste but its very good.

Full paisa vasul movie. Gippy acting is exceptional. Gippy is the saving full grace of this movie. Best comedy provide this movie you will not feel bored at any point. Belive me watch it now this movie and feel stress free mind.
