Overall it was very thorough and well assembled. I do believe the story could have been told in 4-6 episodes, instead of 8. It is hard to imagine the horror that this set of parents, their family and friends have experienced. We can pray for their well-being, but more importantly we should pray for Madeleine's safe return.
This 8 episode 'documentary' is nothing more than a propaganda drive by the people wanting us to believe the McCann's are innocent! It ignores the changing accounts Kate & Gerry offered the Portuguese and Leicestershire police in the days and months following Maddie's disappearance. They also skip the fact that the parents sedated the children, which was widely reported back in 2007, merely showing a brief grilling from the press on it. It fails to address why the British government send the Labour parties PR guy to work with Kate & Gerry 2 days after it was reported Maddie was missing, odd for a random couple...?! Why doesn't the show ask questions of their 'lost' 6 hours between 12:30 & 18:30 on the day Maddie went missing? The differing accounts of Maddie's last moment before the parents went to dinner that evening. There are so many more questions this show doesn't even acknowledge, which is frustrating. By all means waste your time on all 8 episodes, & believe the paedophile ring narrative the show pushed HEAVILY at the end that they stole Maddie to order! Or ask your own questions and go research the disappearance properly.
