A wonderful movie in the recent times. Beautiful screen play , very interesting . All have acted very well. Jay deserves a good place in the film fraternity. Aishwarya is the star performer . The new actress (Vidhya) has acted like a matured and experienced actor. People look out for big star casted films like Leo , Jailor etc..but trust me no one can get the satisfaction from those films like from this kind of good story lined and performance oriented films. It is very obvious and evident that the director is very clear with the story line and has perfectly carried the film through out . Kudos to the entire team 👏👏👏👏

It's a lovely story, nicely directed! Many of the earlier reviewers vilify the character Aranya, whereas it's Gautam, who's totally at fault. "Summa irundha sanga oothi kedutanaam Aandi" is a Tamil saying. Gautam is the root cause of all the problems. He approached Aaranya first for her phone number, celebrated her birthday in advance and then expects Aaranya to totally disconnect and move away from his life. He also moves on to have a second child! Guys are so selfish, which is well portrayed by the character Gautam, the antagonist. Any girl who is going through stressful time would lean heavily on the other person if he shows interest and promises. And in her stress, Aaranya becomes overtly possessive.

RATED 6/10 Language: Tamil Source: Netflix The movie starts very well and the cast was too good. The movie was lovely till the main characters retrun from the Kerala segment. I really enjoyed till this moment. After that movie flow and direction of story is good, but the characterisation become more complex. The characters lost their originality and become villain for a moment and become victim in another second. The biggest problem is, no one will behave like these lovers in the real life. No one will hide lover in the house and no one will argue/explain to police station in front of lover and wife. Dont know what is the reason the heroine forgive the hero in climax and all these kind of mistakes only came in my sight.... i didnt enjoy this one, may be this discomfort only for me. Give a try, you may like it...

This film is made on the lines of the popular Tamil movie: 96 and it almost looks like a sequel to it in a way. The plot is a bit different where a girl wants to patch up with her ex with a back plot for both the characters, a decent one with some unexpected turns but somehow, in the end, it feels like having watched a tv serial, that's where the film fails, maybe due to the laggy/extended portions of the actress. And it looks like a comeback for Jai since nothing seems to have worked out for him in the past, pity. IDU why but watching Aishwarya Rajesh as the heroine is sometimes annoying, I think it's most probably because of her over-acting & too much nonsensical talks in her interviews.

Capturing the moments.. I just love chilling out in our movie theater downstairs with some good movie and drinks.. J is here and yes it's movie time.. Theera Kadhal: Romantic movie directed by Robin Venkatesan. Summary of the story is our life and circumstances might change, but true love we might have had for someone would never completely disappear. Should you disrupt your life for that true love is the question. Gautam (Jai) and Aaranya (Aishwarya Rajesh) were college lovers who could not get married due to family issues. They both run into each other 8 years later in a train station, they were actually in the same train. This does trigger feelings especially in Jai even though he is in a happily married life with Vandhana (Srilekha Nair) and has a small child. Aaranya meanwhile is in a abusive relationship, and it makes absolutely no sense why a woman with a full career should put up with the abuse she was undergoing for 5 years or so. But seeing Gautam does trigger something in her (and also in some way the abuse gets way more violent) that she breaks off from her husband. After that there is a weird character shift in which she is shamelessly and creepily stalking Gautam. Finally things work out in a decent good manner. Overall maybe a one time watch if you have time to spare.

One of the best calssical movie I have ever seen, it feels like we are involved in the character, every actor has acted amazingly, just loved the movie, great direction, at the end I felt like why the movie got over, the screen play, the acting, the direction, background music, the simple common man story and the ex lovers situation simply awesome, overall I loved the movie it's one of the best movie I have ever seen, hats off to director and stroy writer and all the actors to perfectly perform well and it felt like it's happening in our life I wasn't able to get out of the movie for some time. .

When i watched the trailer, i was worried that this movie is about love affair. But after watching the movie, i realised that i was totally wrong. No lines was crossed from the beginning till the end. All the surroundings and circumstances was real and acceptable. This is a tensed movie until it ends. But the story line was clear and the objective was clear. It shows a moderate man's life. His view on his life was real. Nothing fantasy. Everything was so real and relatable. Every decision that the man make is for real and probably the same and right one that every man in that sitution will do. No nothing dramatic. Was so real and tense. Loved it. 10 out of 10.

Personal Rating 7.5/10 Does true love always remain unfinished? Even after marriage can return to true love? Even if you go back, do you have the same feeling as before? This movie has a very beautiful and cute story. Everything from the direction of the movie to the BGM was quite potential. Jai and aishwariya rajesh gave great performances. The director of the movie has been able to bring out emotions in the movie. After many days I met with good romantic drama. You should not miss This because of its simplicity and presentation. Overall, WATCH IT BEFORE THE REMAKE to get the taste of the original.

This movie starts with our protagonist meeting his ex-lover on a business trip. The characters are established and movie progresses. This movie story line is good enough for a short film, but the 2 hour duration looks dragged and claustrophobic with majority of scenes happening in same house (or) the office space. The plot did not work as suddenly the Aishwarya Rajesh character becomes possessive and psycho over our protagonist, which looks a bit unrealistic and over the top. The emotional high is not there without which the movie just looks like scene after scene that is predictable. Sshivada character is too good though it has little scenes!!
