Bon film !

An important film with mediocre writing and average execution. The film which focuses on the crucial subject of discrimination against Northeast people deserved a better execution. The story was unable to establish any connection with the viewers. Ayushmann Khurrana has delivered a decent performance. Andrea Kevichüsa was good in her Bollywood debut, thanks to casting director Mukesh Chhabra for introducing the leading actress from Northeast India for this role. Loitongbam Dorendra, Mipham Otsal, Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, and all other supporting actors were fine in their roles. Director Anubhav Sinha has delivered a critically acclaimed films like Mulk, Article 15, and Thappad. But this time he couldn't be able to offer a hard-hitting film with Anek. Although some dialogues are impactful but there was no scope for engaging drama or action in the film due to which it failed to deliver wholesome entertainment. Direction 2.5/5 Acting 3/5 Editing 2/5 Story 2.5/5 Screenplay 2.5/5.

This is baseless boring movie for an informed Indian. Where was the director of this movie when far East was completely negected by CONgress govts and Nehru clan???? Congress was in power for all these years and completely neglected these far east states. Now these states are having proper recognition, proper infrastructure, roads and services have steadily increased at a massive pace. The athletes from these states are having greater representation and the whole situation is completely different from before and that is why this idiotic director is able to make a movie using local people in the first place with easier access to these states. MAKES NO SENSE PRESENTING INDIAN GOVT IN POOR LIGHT WHEN THE REAL MOTIVATIONS OF THIS STUPID DIRECTOR AND PRODUCER IS ANTI INDIA SENTIMENTS. WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH. ALL BOLLYWOOD DIRECTORS WHO IN ANY WAY SUPPORT SEPARATIST MOVEMENTS ARE ANTI INDIA DESH DROHIS.

If you have plan with girlfriend go in empty theatres enjoy. Seriously no story waste of time.. how can anyone make this on a very sensitive issue.. ayushman is a great actor .. but what he can do without a story .. feel sorry for him.

That's the bitter truth, just can't understand why so much of negativity. Every thing was very good in it. Anubhav sir and his hard hitting content. I wish everyone should watch it and every Indian should know our states name with their proper location. Jitega kon People of 🇮🇳 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😀😃😃😃😀😃😃😃😃😀😀

Things have changed now, the movie can ignite a fire between people. Don't know what anubhav Sinha was trying to do. No need of this type of hype. Movie has shown 7 sister states are hated by rest of india, which is absolutely wrong.

I went to watch this movie with lot of expectaions but i not only got dissappointed but it actually took my patience test. It was really hard for me to even sit at the theatre till interval. But somehow i competed the movie. I will zero star.

Don't take side and view this with a neutral instance. This movie is not concluding anything. It's just trying to portray perspective of different people.

The story and screenplay of the movie is so bad that if anyone sees the whole movie, he will have to be admitted to a mental hospital very soon. Completely bad movie. There was nothing entertaining about the movie. It was not clear what the director wanted to say through the story in the movie. After a long time I saw such a bad movie. It was a complete waste of time. No way this movie will be seen. Everyone is requested not to watch this movie. Watching this movie is nothing but a waste of time, money and body energy. There was no music in the movie. The heroine has no hadith.

Loses itself within parallelism of "what it means to be Indian". Anubhav Sinha's sheer authenticity brought social and political concerns but many of 'em were dreadfully disjointed. At least Ayushmann and newcomer Kevichusa tried something different for good reasons.
