It has a great potential to be psychotic thriller ..And as always Tovino is just amazing to watch him - Mamtha Mohandas role is so crisp & The girl who acted as Tovino's neice acted so full of suspicion and increased the curiosity to find out the real motive behind this murder (like it's always been that serial killers don't have any particular motive ) Bgm is haunting & thrilled at the right moments ( but still at many points reminded of Ratchasan 😬 only those keyboard pattern sounds ) But still it repeats in ur mind even after watching the movie .. They had all the possibility to make it a top notch flawless psycho thriller movie but still a Little disappointed a many points ..But all its WORTH a watch & to be fair learned a lot of forensic science and the methods they use (Really like mind blogging )

Thanks to whounit films of the past like CBI series or the number of action-cop drama's starring Suresh Gopi, Malayalam film audiences have accepted the genre of such kind & with the success of recent film like Anjaam Pathiraa the genre in seeing a resurgance in the industry. The film involves a forensic officer who involves himself in the investigation of serial killings of small girls. The rest of the film deals with how the protagonist defies his superior's and tries to stop the serial killing which to large extent affects his personal life as well. Forensic as a film easily fits into the genre of whodunit film. It is effective in building up the thrill element of the film and would keep its viewers gripped to the seats till the very end. The main protagonist which involves Tovino and Mamta enact their parts well but majority of the supporting actors feel under-utilized. The 2nd half of the film involves certain cliches and the cinematography of the film is medicore as it looks like it has been inspired from RGV type of camera work. Same can be said about the stunt sequences as well. The ending of the film gave an indication of a sequel in case if it releases i would looking forward to it. On the whole it is a must watch for the lovers of investigative thriller and would be more excited for more such films to come.

Well, stick with your original story man, or else you will end up with a mess that not even Steven Spielberg can save. Tovino was like a marooned guy after taking lsd daily and on a acid trip on the whole movie. I think he had some personal issues during the shooting of this movie. Mamtha and other girl who's supposed to be the heroine is not even trying to act in a movie she's like I'm here to watch some movie stars. Only exception is the serial killer, who acted for others in which if he was given more screen space and made the movie about him would make a huge difference. I can only blame the story writers who believed people won't be reviewing this movie seriously. They might have used dexter and recent psycho killer trends in Tamil movies to create a mallu version of thriller. An absolute waste of time.watch if you want to sleep sound.

Disappointed. Should have taken it with more realistic things

A school kids body was found in a school bus, the driver was charged immediately? had it been in some panchayath road, the panchayath member would have been arrested. CCTV in a forest? lol. A police mom loses her kid, and she just assumed her dead and no investigation? The omini van kept purely for chasing the villian, that too with the freaking key on the ignition.! LOOL Rithika Xavier? even after divorce the women kept her ex's name along with her?. A kid who killed his dad, studied and became a psychologist? And this family seems to be disconnected from outside world? coz nobosy seem to have cared about a missing person.

This is a whodunnit movie, so won't be able to write much as it might be spoilers. I have seen a lot of whodunnit movies, so felt this one as just an average movie. The direction and bgm is good and film kept engaging till first half. Second half isn't that great. Final Verdict: One time watchable whodunnit

Forensic makes us really scared and the movie is creepy. But the plot doesn't make any sense and is badly made. The movie should have made in atleast a decent way and they should've closed all loopholes and simple mistakes. Overall, a forgettable watch.
