I had heard a lot of postive reviews adn was excited to watch it when it released on OTT. But it turned out to be very mediocre. Recently released Stree 2 has set the bar really high in terms of fusion of Horror & comedy. Movie just never took off. It was all too flat. Dialogues also fail to evoke any laughter. Story is below par but in terms of execution it could have been way better. We have seen Bhool Bhulaiya 2 and Stree 2 providing so much entertainment even with not so great plot. Climax also had a lot of potential but badly executed Overall brave attempt in Gujarati Cinema but now it's time to improve to match the standards of similar horror comedy movies.

Comedy is best. You wont feel bore.... Story is also good. Great climax and horror is also good. Viraj, Mansi and Ojas's acting is mind blowing. I was surprised to see entire movie caste stars are outstanding with their performance acting, superb n mind-blowing movie The performances were phenomenal, with each actor delivering their role with depth and authenticity. One of best comedy Gujarati movies made till now!! A well made movie, with great climax and suspense, horror is ok-ok but paisa vasol. Full on laughter! Surely watch it! I love the way where they direct the movie with a good mashup of comedy and horror combinations. I recommend you to go and watch this movie in cinema's. One more exceptional movie from gujrati industry nice script, acting, screenplay & direction above all mind blowing climax. Viraj ghelani is the best! If you want the thrills of horror and comedy mixed with amazing acting, artistic direction and engaging story telling, Jhamkudi is your view this week! The soulful songs, tight script and picturesque cinematography brings this Gujarati movie on par with some of the best cinematic films in India. The story weaves beautifully around central characters, bablo, kumud, ghel, aae, chaa ma paanch and babu kaka. The character descriptions are wholly defined and add awesome flavour to story telling. Must watch for anyone who seeks good cinema. The audiences were glued to their seats and laughing away uncontrollably on some really sharp comic dialogues too.

I guess this is the first Gujarati horror comedy movie, if this only buys you, then go watch the movie. But if you have seen Bhul Bhulaiya 2, then i tell you BB2 is better than this movie. You can watch BB2 instead of this movie. Movie is slow-paced, at few forced humour jokes are there. Which really makes it boring and not so interesting. Directors should have resolved that in movie. And romance is so silly, not good. Songs are also not good. And the climax is still out of my understanding. And if they are thinking it to make a sequel than they need to focus on this mentioned topics. And that jhamkudi song is worst than the movie.
