poor CGI
nice movie I recommend you watch it
Another masterpiece that does not deserve grade 1, but ZERO!! This film has, every 5 minutes, a huge mistake: village that appears in the images, different cars, people from the film production, etc. It's a complete disaster! Not to mention that the idea is nice, but the film's narrative lacks a beginning and an end! My advice: don't waste your time with something like this! Everything is "artificial", starting with the CGI and ending with the fire at the muzzle of the machine guns. Everything is an absolute fake! If the film had been made by some high school children, it would certainly have been more interesting!
In other words, a real stinker. I did learn a couple things. If chased by a T-Rex, hiding in a nylon tent is not likely to work to save one. And apparently a T-Rex won't cross a shallow stream. A small group flies into a portal, and is transported to an island where there are terribly done CGI creatures. They meet a trio of armed paramilitary(?), and the leader is quick to threaten to kill the only person who could get them back through the portal. On the island are numerous stacks of cleanly sawed timber, even free of the tree bark. And in one long view scene, apparently a road. The movie is a complete mess, terrible acting and you soon care little about who gets killed next.
Right, well within the first minute and a half of the movie, you are introduced to the lousy CGI animated dinosaurs in form of flying Pterodactylus. They looked ridiculously bad. And then there was the sound that they made, which sounded like the engine of a TIE fighter from "Star Wars". Right, not even two minutes into the ordeal, and I was ready to call it quits. Sure, I harbored zero expectations to this movie when I opted to sit down and watch it. Why? Well, given the movie's title, and the fact that 90% of all dinosaur-based movies are questionable at best. Yet, I opted to endure and stick with it, giving writer Harry Boxley and director Victor De Almeida the benefit of the doubt. Sure, I had never heard about the movie prior to sitting down and watching it, so I didn't know what I was in for here, nor what to expect, really. The storyline is, in fact, every bit as dubious and ridiculous as you would expect from a dinosaur-themed movie of this caliber. You're not in for anything grand, much less in for anything interesting or even entertaining. It was a boring narrative, and the movie was a massive swing and a miss from writer Harry Boxley. Unfortunately I have been sitting through enough low budget and questionable movies to be familiar with actresses Chrissie Wunna and Danielle Scott on the cast list here. The acting performances were as you would expect for a movie such as this, so you're not exactly in for a stellar evening of Shakespearian theater. The CGI in the movie is pretty atrocious. It looks rather terrible and doesn't come off as being realistic, nor does it even have the illusion of the poorly rendered CGI dinosaurs were in the same scenes as the actors and actresses that were supposed to be acting against these horrible CGI abominations. I wonder if the dinosaurs became extinct because their CGI rendered became obsolete. And why was there a large spider in the cave? It served absolutely no purpose, except fot a chance to show off more questionable CGI. Not to mention the huge crab-like humanoid creature, what was that about? The helicopter flight scenes were equally horrible to look at, as they were clearly filmed inside a small room. YOu don't ever get a shot of an actor or actress with nothing but a grey window. So yeah, that is definitely an indicator of how low budget the movie was. Wait, there was a scene where you see the helicopter cockpit from the side, but it is so painfully obvious that it is just a prop. At least some of the practical effects, such as some of the injuries, looked fair enough. I am amazed at how movies such as this get to see the light in 2024. Doesn't anyone raise a concern with what they are seeing in post-production? Or is the allure of the almighty dollar really that blinding? My rating of "Jurassic Triangle" lands on a very generous two out of ten stars.
I don't usually review movies. As a matter of fact this is my first review of a movie ever. But the horrible acting and everything in between is just unbearable. In 2024 people are still making movies like this? The CGI was really bad. The acting or the script (if any was used at all) was just poor written. What did I just watch? I tried to watch this movie (if you can call it that) but I felt I wasted my good 1 hour trying to understand what was happening. I think the directors and the actors are in a wrong line of work. They really should just find different careers. The dinosaurs as poorly represented by bad CGI were even a better actors than humans. Hence I was kind enough to give it two stars. Don't get me started on the helicopters!
Sometimes these movies can be good or average. This is average. Obviously a copy of King Kong and Jurassic Park merged, it falls flat with the actors and actresses. The fact that it's a hidden island that everyone seems to find is odd but apart from Dinosaurs we know of, weird scorpions with hands and a hot breath exist. Spoiler is everyone dies! Having just lost best friends etc joy overtakes some of them as they move on to pilot a helicopter that has no pilot anymore. I watched it on Tubi and unfortunately Tubi titles can be misleading with the actual content and quality of the story and acting. I guess as it was 'Free" to watch doesn't diminish the fact it could have been a lot better.
The dinosaurs were good, they looked real and like they were in the environment. I enjoyed the scenery. The acting made me laugh. The plot/story was fine. But; I didn't like the number of times they didn't notice a dinosaur that was close to them. The sawed pile of logs just bugged me. I don't think the people who "arrive" there are going to have the time, tools, energy etc. To cut and stack logs. They might make a fort but they would place each log as they cut it. I didn't like the non dinosaur creatures, the stupidity of the shootings, the one guy who suddenly dies for no explained reason, or the ending. If I'd noticed it was a horror movie I wouldn't have watched it.

I admit it, I am a sucker for anything title with the word Jurassic in it. I don't expect anything like the Spielberg original especially if it's not a theatrical release, so having said that. Jurassic Triangle was an OK movie with a premise that, based on the title, was trying to make a monster movie coupled with the Bermuda Triangle. There wasn't that much in the way of dinosaurs but some very weird looking monster that killed by roaring and exploding the victims. This happened a few times and along with a couple of dinosaurs eating victims whole. I guess I was surprised that there were no survivors, and in fact in the final scene, it seemed like pterodactyls flew in from the portal, which was supposed to be the means for escape. I usually judge a movie by determining whether I would watch again, but this did not meet that criterion.
