Amazing cast and direction, loved it. Simple story of a boy who fell in love which is portrayed in a beautiful way.

It is simple ordinary movie with old storyline of Bollywood romantic film. Only good thing is shradha srinath appears beautiful in movie. If u like shradha then see otherwise wastage of time only.

Sanjay Mishra, Rajiv Gupta and Ali Zafar have totally been wasted. The leading lady tries to copy Kangna but fails miserably at it. Direction is brilliant intermittently but most of the time it seems that the director was not present on the sets. Good time pass, nothing extra ordinary and if you want to watch the movie for some good performance and a different story, stay away.

Nothing to expect extraordinary but a good directions and beauty of friendship seen in the movie is what makes you engaged. No good songs, no comedy...

Tigmanshu Dhulia returns to direction, this time with a light-hearted romantic film in Milan Talkies. The movie has been in development for some time, seeing changes in the leads. Milan Talkies was to have Imran Khan in the lead, who walked out of the film with reasons undisclosed. There were also talks that Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra were to be a part of the film. Finally, after years, Dhulia makes Milan Talkies with Mirzapur fame Ali Fazal and Vikram Vedha actress Shraddha Srinath (making her Bollywood debut). "Set in Allahabad, Milan Talkies is about the love story of Annu Kumar and Mythili. The boy-meets-girl romance has the ingredients of the stuff we see in our regular films. But it is Dhulia's treatment that makes the film so watchable. From the first half at least, we could say that this is Tigmanshu Dhulia's most light-hearted attempt at making a movie. Sure, near the interval point, things do turn a bit serious and bloody. The veteran stars, including Sanjay Mishra, Ashutosh Rana and Dhulia himself, are a treat to watch. The leads themselves, Fazal and Srinath, have an easy chemistry between them. With the second half promising to take a serious turn. Milan Talkies tells us it is okay to dream n dream big of creating your own Mughal-e-Azam in real and real life.

I just started watching this on 4th July , wow what a movie .. when started not expected this good, all cast are top notch .. these kind of cinema deserve more attention , that's why adding reviews here ..watched in amazon prime free .. nice collection of movies ..

It was a predictable senseless work with no comedy apart from some dry jokes here and there. The only thing to watch is tigmanshu dhulai that too for a short while. Also I woke up at 9 to watch it, ran through metro stations only to be so disappointed.
