Description
The animation film The Wizard's Christmas: Return of the Snow King, starring Jonathan Love, Nick Johnson, Riah Fielding-Walters, etc., directed by an unlisted director, was released on November 1, 2016 in Canada. I originally decided to watch this film as a joke, due to the offputiting animation style- unfortunately my intital response to the style was that It appeared to be filmed in the early 2000s, however, The animation grew on me because the characters are just so lovable and the plot is extremely interesting! I haven't had a chance to see the first one (as this is the sequel to the orginal "The Wizard's Christmas") but the story overall was easy to piece together. The world building and the characters are fun and the problems faced are genuine. I wouldn't exactly consiter it to be a "Christmas Movie"- the Christmas "vibe" stems more from the enviorment than the plot- except for at the very end which is the only part of the movie that feels ridicliously forced. Its a fun simple film, its a nice watch and has become a tradition now amongst my friend group. Please give this movie a chance, Its worth it.
