The acting wasn't horrible. Some of the scenery was nice. It could've been a good horror/drama movie but the storyline was dumb and the characters even dumber. And, the girls kept their hair and makeup perfect throughout the whole ordeal. Lots of "lost in the wilderness" tropes and of course the mayor was up for re-election and didn't want any shade on the town of Merced. His re-election was so important that he wasn't concerned about a kidnapped young woman. Nor was the hotel owner and the poor sister of the kidnapped girl was kicked out of town. Ridiculous! I would have given this movie a 1/2 star if possible.

This film is amazing. Off the charts in all facets, directing, acting, cinematography, it's all there. Buckle up as this movie wastes no time delivering the goods! I could not believe this was a Lifetime movie this should have been released in theatres!!!! This could have swept the Oscar's but I'm guessing politics got involved, don't let that bother you, make the time to watch this powerhouse of a film. You will forget you are watching a movie with the incredible realism on display here. The sister and her estranged boyfriend's chemistry is palpable and feels ultra real. I won't spoil anything but this movie grabs you and doesnt let go until the credits roll!!!

The Stewart sisters, Jennifer and Katrina, take a vacation to Yosemite National Park. Unfortunately, Katrina is kidnapped by a nefarious creature using the name Rick Edgewood and claiming to be a photographer working to raise awareness of climate change. Rick is working closely with an equally sinister and sadistic tag team partner. This unpleasant yarn was mitigated by some sly humor. The feisty Katrina was not shy in verbally humiliating her abductor. And the equally spirited sister Jennifer convinced her ex-boyfriend Wally to drive up from Merced to help her locate Katrina. Jennifer and Wally receive little support from the police, as well as the management of the Buenavista Hotel, with the manager claiming that Jennifer's video posted about her sister's kidnapping is hurting business. The smooth-talking mayor of Merced is equally uncooperative. The best part of the film was the banter between Jennifer and Wally. In the process of nagging each other, the couple found that they were enjoying their company and were rekindling their romantic relationship! The saddest part of the film was the collateral damage of the hiker named Zack, who made a quick exit from the narrative courtesy of the deranged Rick. But there was a lively denouement to the film with a one-year anniversary and reunion to recall the search, rescue, and recovery operation of the previous year. It is likely, however, that the intrepid sisters will not be staying at the Buenavista Hotel!

Sky Coyne is absolutely one of the worst actresses I've ever seen in my entire life! This movie reminds me of something put out by the high school drama club! In fact as someone who went to a performing arts school, I think that I have seen better productions come from high school students. I cannot convey in words how dramatically bad this 'woman is on screen to the point that some scenes are downright laughable. The scenes between his character and her ex-boyfriend you would think this is a comedy .I fell asleep and somehow this little gem ended up on my screen as my TV was on auto play. This was so bad I had to review it! Don't waste your time here!

The problem with this movie is that it is way too much in several aspects. Yea, so the police, the mayor and almost everyone is angry with a woman trying to find her sister? Really? That is what we are going for? The antagonist, and the "partner" is equally out there. I constantly had the feeling like they needed to enhance everything to keep the audience interest, but instead it just comes off way too much, too cliche. I was also not too found of the sound design, and I felt the ending was a bit convenient and cliche. With that said however this is still a good watch. The acting, although over the top on some characters, is excellent for this type of movie. The story, although cliche, is well told and there is a proper flow of events and it all comes (too) neatly together. The two main protagonists have great chemistry together and have excellent dialogue. The storytelling is hurt by the over-the-top characters, but is otherwise great despite its cliche. This is not a great movie, its more of a well acted B-film and you can definitely do a lot better. But you can also do a lot worse. This is worth a look. Just don't have any expectations, take it for what it is. 6/!0 based on above. I somewhat hesitantly recommend. I can definitely see why some might not like this, but I had a good time and I think many others will as well.

Why lifetime do you keep making movies that make me finish them because for no other reason than I have already wasted so much of my life I may as well go for broke... So in this rendition of of FML sideways we see the ridiculous cop with the uniform shirt buttoned all the way up so that he looks thoroughly unskilled. Then there are the hotel manager and town mayor caricatures. This entire show was not only badly written, the acting, directing & production are awful. In fact the only good thing about this film is 100% the scenery because well it's the woods and nature. Remove the human beings it would be a perfect film. The hunting humans for sport is played out when good actors are cast it just sucks harder when talentless hacks have a go at it.

Great comedy and ridiculous storyline, supposed to be a thriller I guess. To me and my friends it was far from that, the premise is laughable and the bad guys are just so lame and dumb. Switch off your brain to watch this crap, and get ready to laugh at how bad it is. Only good thing was, we did have a laugh at this film. Don't think that's what the film makers were arming for with this lame as movie. Don't understand the ok reviews from other people, but if you have time to kill and waste, this movie is for you. Myself I need it to be at least plausible and enjoyable to watch.id give this movie a miss and look for something good !
