"2016" hits even harder, all downstroke guitar and superb refrain. Remember the 18-year-old's origin story A Fortnite freak, he started writing songs to dodge licensing woes on his YouTube channel. He cut his first tracks in his sister's bedroom closet using the best of Arctic Monkeys and Paramore as heroic templates. He dropped "Romantic Homicide" and blew up on every platform ever. He didn't start playing live 'til a couple years ago, and last spring's ‘Petals To Thorns’ EP reassured any doubters that he was a cool contender for any kind of accolade. Last summer Pharrell invited him to his Something In The Water festival.  A week ago he Insta'd a message of success: "A song i made on my iPhone hit a billion streams today." So of course we invited him back to share some new music. "My House Is Not A Home" is dreamy... heartbreaking and ominous at the same time.
