I'm a huge fan of the sport before anything else, so I am heavily influenced by some of my pugilistic heros in my coaching style. In this session with Wez I based the work around “The Hitman”, known for his relentless pressure and famed for his body shot. When working with a fighter I will try to find fighters that suit their natural style. This will either be down to their mentality, being a naturally aggressive or counter type fighter, or down to their body type, i.e being tall or short. I will then find inspiration from their approach and try and help emulate it through my own student and hopefully be able to replicate some their success.
