Today we're making Amagwinya / Fat Cakes/ Puff Puffs / Vetkoeks. I don't have much to say about this recipe besides the fact that it's delicious. Depending on how you scoop the dough, this recipe will give you a serving of 8 - 10 fat cakes. Note: Pre-heat your oil before deep frying your fat cakes. The fat cakes should float if your oil is hot enough. If the fat cakes start burning as soon as you put them in the pot, it means your oil is too hot and they won't cook properly inside. Use a bit of dough to test whether the oil is hot enough or not. Yeast has a bitter taste to it, i wouldn't suggest adding an entire packet for just 3 Cups of Flour. _______________________________ Ingredients: 3 Cups Flour 4 Tbsp Sugar 1/4 Tsp Salt 1 1/2 Cups Warm Water 1 Tbsp Yeast Cooking Oil _______________________________ Find me on other social media platforms Instagram Food Page: /nomhlecooks Personal instagram: /_nomhle_s Tik Tok: /nomhlecooks Facebook: /nomhlecooks ____________________________ Other videos to enjoy Creamy Samp with Mushrooms: •HowToCookCreamyMushroomSamp|SampRe...
