Speaking in the second half of his interview reviewing the recently closed window, Viana made it clear that the club are happy with the business we conducted. “We are really happy,” he said. “It was an important summer for us in terms of selling and buying it was a really good summer and heavy summer for us. “But overall, we are really happy with the window.” Another key part of Hugo's role is player retention, here he talks through the business of securing four contract extensions for key players Phil Foden, Jeremy Doku, Abdukodir Khusanov and Joško Gvardiol over the summer.
