He beat a host of top fighters from the 1980s and 1990s such as Nampon Nongkeepahuyuth, Chamuekpet Hapalang, Ramon Dekkers, Wanchannoi Sor Palangchai, Therdkiat Sittepitak, Panomtuanlek Hapalang, Cherry Sor Wanich, Superlek Sorn Esarn, Saencheng Pinsinchai and Rajasak Sor Vorapin. Jaroenthong won Lumpinee titles in the 115-, 126- and 136 lbs categories and ended his career with 120 victories from 151 fights. He now owns Muay Thai gyms in Koh Samui and Bangkok.
