A disciple of Syed Hazrat Waris Ali Shah, his poetry has been a confluence of modern Urdu idiom, Punjabi as well as Farsi traditions that preceded him. In fact, the kalam he wrote in the Purbi ang led to him being titled “Khusrau-e-Saani” and it reflects the essence of the basic nuances of all Sufi concepts that speak of love towards the murshid and the Divine.
