In 2023 the LSE Phelan US Centre ran an essay competition for LSE master's students with the prompt: What responsibility does the US have to the rest of the world on climate change? The winning entry by Oscar Parry (LSE Anthropology), and runners up Alia Yusuf (LSE School of Public Policy) and Jibran Raja (LSE International Relations) were published on the LSE United States Politics and Policy Blog (USAPP). The winner and runner-up presented their essays in the UK Parliament to members of the British-American Parliamentary Group and MPs with an interest in climate change policy. Did you know that LSE is home to 5 beehives? 🐝 These are on top of one of our campus buildings and we have a professional beekeeper, Barnaby, looks after the 🐝🐝🐝 along with members of the LSE SU Beekeeping Society.
