In this series, we will look at a time when wrestling was at peak popularity. While the WWE may not be attracting the same audiences as previous years, Vince McMahon and Eric Bischoff once produced wrestling shows that both aired on Monday Nights that were incredibly popular with high viewership, WWF Raw on the USA Network and WCW Nitro on TNT. Nitro was created to specifically compete with the WWF's Raw show, and so, two of wrestling's most prolific companies went head to head in a time period known as "The Monday Night Wars". This series by Wrestling Bios takes a look at each episode of Raw and Nitro and compares the shows. This episode takes a look at what Nitro and Raw presented on the week September 18th 1995. This Nitro show was one night removed from Fall Brawl 1995 while the WWF were about to broadcast In Your House 3 live on pay per view this same week. Nitro featured stars such as Ric Flair, Harlem Heat and Macho Man Randy Savage while the WWF gave us Owen Hart, Yokozuna and Razor Ramon.
