Description

The TV series Rich Brian: the Sailor -- album review, created by an unlisted creator and produced by an unlisted studio, first premiered on August 2, 2019 in Indonesia. The series spans 0 seasons with 0 episodes, featuring the voices of an unlisted voice cast. It follows the story of This is the official J Morris the Review Guy album review for the second studio length album by Indonesian rapper Brian Imanuel, aka Rich Chigga, aka Rich Brian, entitled the Sailor! Album type: Trap-rap, trip-hop, alternative R&B. 88Rising has boasted many people. From Joji's In Tongues and Ballads1, two records that have wowed many people--mostly due to Filthy Frank, and or Frank Miller's transition--, to Dumbfounded and Keith Ape, one in particular sticks out: Rich Brian! With his debut studio length album, Amen, released last year, Brian established him a solid fanbase. Amen was a formidable release, even if some of the instrumental choices and delivery a young Brian portrayed left me wanting a bit more. The Sailor, however, has Rich Brian coming into his own much more. From the insanely powerful Yellow, (ft producer and vocalist Bēkon, pardon my American voice trying to pronounce that in the video, lol) which features a deep, husky and bassy voiced Rich Brian sing-rapping over an absolutely gorgeous trip-hop beat that goes through ominous breaks, to the stripped back Curious, which is much like Slow Dancing in the Dark by Joji, to tracks like Rapapapapa (FT none other than Rza!), which feature speedy, ice-cold rapping over a beat that, while not super abstract, hits the punch right on the head.... I could keep going on...I really could. However, Rich Brian should be an artist you check out. Check out 88Rising, too! They're really worth it! The Sailor is much more fleshed out and enjoyable and admirable than Amen. It stands, also, as one of my favorite 88Rising projects I've heard to date. It's a sick album, even if it has its weak moments. This album is available now on 88Rising! My favorite tracks on this album are: The Sailor - Rapapapa (featuring RZA) - Yellow (featuring Bēkon) - Drive Safe - Vacant - Where Does the Time Go (featuring Joji) My least favorite tracks on this album are: No Worries - 100 Degrees.
