Good movie!
It is a goofy cartoon catered to a younger viewing audience. Most jokes were a miss but there were genuine funny moments. Some references to the older show was quite clever and unique. But the animation for the original Teen Titans felt "off" almost amateur. I'd let the kids watch it but kinda forgettable mostly harmless.
An animated movie is okay with some comedy, but I have seen movies that are much better than him, so in my opinion six stars are what they deserve and this remains my opinion. Thanks.
It was Awesome.the animation was on point.and the older titans might have changed a bit but other than that it was good
It was a relief to see the old Team Titans, but sadly the overall characterisations were off and it truly was just another TTG entry - shallow, not as clever or funny as it's trying to be, and overrun with unnecessary musical numbers. The cameos were nice (too bad they were kept to a bare minimum) and the running theme of Starfire's reactions to Robin was the only recurring theme that was amusing to me. Kevin Michael Richardsen was great voicing Trigon and the overall general plot was a vast improvement from the previous TTG movie, but for fans of the original Teen Titans series (or the Young Justice series, or the various standalone DC movies featuring Robin/Nightwing etc) this was still very disappointing.
This is plain ridiculous, having Toddler Titans team up with the original titans. It's not fair.
This movie has something for everyone, whether you loved the original Teen Titans or enjoy Teen Titans Go! (personally I like both and they're both great in their own ways). This movie perfectly brought out the personality colours of the original Teen Titans (something a lot of the original fans seem to forget they even had), the character interactions, nuances and the comfort zone being broken with the introduction of the Teen Titans Go just makes this movie extremely fun. The movie is brilliant in their humour constantly breaking the fourth wall and even making jokes at the childhood fans of Teen Titans that are so outraged by Go. Give this movie a chance, the action is well done, the plot isn't anything amazing but the characters hold the story together so well, it's truly refreshing in the world of superhero movies. Separating them by universe will certainly make everyone happy, and the exciting appearance of others for the finale was very exciting and fun!
Cartoon Network redeemed themselves with this movie! Two of my favorite series collided! This movie is my favorite right now! I just wish this was in the theaters. The film starts as the Teen Titans fight Gentleman Ghost. Gentleman Ghost accidentally cracks Raven's crystal, and Raven goes crazy. Then, the titans meet the original versions, and fight. It is then revealed that this was all part of Trigon's plan to rule the multiverse, or as I like to call it, the Titanverse! The two titans have to get along in order to save the Ravens. In the end, every single Teen Titan comes together to fight. Why didn't Spiderverse have that? And the ending was a really big cliffhanger, which could possibly live for a sequel. The songs were entertains, but the movie was just a little short. I would recommend buying this movie on iTunes.
After seeing the fakes, here is the real review for this crossover!! Seeing the original CN Teen Titans was great & is the only reason this got a 5 out of 10 from me!! The writing could be way better but they keep it to the immature level of Go!! Is there some funny parts, sure but taking the Santa Claus aspect that Futurama did was LAME!! Yes, he is not a robot but it's still a lame ripoff!! What do the viewers want, TEEN TITANS!! Go just is plain out garbage!! Instead of listing to the people who gave the creators the chance to be successful, they instead pick to follow the lower path reboot series!! If it would have been 90% focus on what fans want & 10% focus on Go, this would have been great!!
