The AWA wanted to start a new TV program to kickstart a new era for the company, and created a pilot episode for this new program to shop around TV networks. The show was named the "AWA Team Challenge Series", and it was a total disaster. The "Team Challenge Series" pilot show turned out to be a hilarious disaster featuring GREEN SCREEN entrances, foxy boxing, wrestling matches with no audience, and "cutting edge technology" such as slow motion replays.
