Good movie!

What can I say, I am a sucker for red heads! Morgan is slowly becoming a hallmark star so hopefully she starts getting better scripts. I think the leading man actually matches her somewhat unlike her other two movies with Drew Nelson. I have always complained about Hallmark casting because I don't think they look at whom has chemistry. Morgan would be perfect with Andrew Walker or Peter McNally with her soft sweet demeanor. Hallmark please spend a few cents on casting department. Story, Script and Couple is what makes these movies and you just can't throw anyone together.

Wow this one really missed the mark. No real storyline or maybe it's just predictable. I stopped watching after 20 minutes which was way too long.

I enjoyed this slight but entertaining Hallmark film, and felt that it had the two main ingredients that make/break one of these films - the storyline holds up, and the leads have chemistry. It is a bit short, and the ending a bit rushed, but apart from that this was fun.

Unfortunately I couldn't make it through this one. Couldn't get interested in the storyline. Why do they make your review be 150 characters in order for it to be published? I got nothing left.

Morgan Kohan stars as Lily Summers in this Hallmark romance about a big-city interior decorator who rushes home to Harbor Island when her aunt takes a fall. While attending to Aunt Maggie (Brenda Matthews), Lily is reminded of the island's charms. She also meets a pilot named Marcus (Marcus Rosner) who initially rubs her the wrong way, but whose quiet way eventually gains her trust. His hobby is rescuing homeless dogs. The camera loves Ms. Kohan and her presence makes the film, which has a traditional Hallmark storyline. Rosner's silent strength may not exactly match up with his costar's screen persona, but it will probably appeal to many women viewers.

As a Hallmark movie it was better then some and was predictable with the final half hour conflict thrown in which was as expected. What was really weak was the ending, the idea that a party can presume that a offer at an open house is automatically accepted is so far off base, as was the "counter offer" at the end. As sweet as the gesture was it is not at all realistic to what happens in the real world and just made zero sense no matter which country one is making a purchase on any property... It was just weird and evident the writer had no clue how purchasing or selling properties worked. It was like the writer could not figure out the ending and just came up with "something" and really should do their research if they do not have the knowledge to write a story... Otherwise a good story, just weird last fifteen minutes.

Good story, great chemistry between the leads, gorgeous scenery, and cute dogs.

As a fan of Hallmark movies in general, I was happy to give this one a try. I enjoyed Marcus R. in WCTH and was happy to see he had the opportunity to be the lead. But whoever wrote the script must have dropped the pages and had half blow away in the wind. There is not enough dialogue to carry for the run time and so many plot holes it was painful to watch. A pilot who eschews technology. How does he file a flight plan? A counter offer to save the inn, the seller just rejects the offer. Has no one at Hallmark ever purchased property before? Lanterns that are going to be hung to light the way for returning fisherman are floated in water to be run over by said returning boats. Even the requisite "caught having a dance party" scene is old. Sorry Hallmark, so many chances; handsome lead actor, pilot, puppies all wasted. You were up by 7 with 10 seconds to go and you just had to fall on the ball.....

I noticed straight away that it wasn't summer when there were coats and long sleeves then I spotted a pumpkin! This movie would have fit great in fall, but it definitely wasn't a summer movie! I also thought the "city girl" comment was overused and obnoxious when she was born and raised on the island and her family owned the inn! It seemed kind of odd that he had all the money to have a plane and then buy a inn but didn't seem to actually make much money running an animal rescue. In the beginning there are always dogs with him, and you'd think she may end up with one, but by the end of the movie you never see the dogs anymore. There were a lot of financial issues in this movie that were far fetched and too unrealistic. There were also hardly any people shown actually staying at the inn! The more you think about all the events the more loopholes and discrepancies you find! The movie was ok, but definitely not my favorite.
