Mean Gene Okerlund not only done a great job at interviewing wrestlers, but he also added his own charm to the interviews, making some seriously entertaining segments that today's WWE hosts and interviewers just can't match up to. Gene Okerlund began his career as a radio DJ but transitioned over to the AWA. In the AWA, Okerlund met Hulk Hogan, and when the Hulkster moved to the WWF to begin the rise of Hulkamania, Mean Gene followed him. In the WWF, Mean Gene Okerlund would become the voice of wrestling, interviewing all the big stars on TV while the company was seeing exceptional growth. Mean Gene would take his skillset to WCW also, where he was involved in some of the company's biggest and most important moments. After an 8 year WCW career, Mean Gene returned to the WWE.
